In most cases, a release that is not live on stores or streaming platforms is still going through the approval process with LANDR’s distribution team. Take a look at this article to get a sense of standard turnaround times. It’s also important to keep in mind that your release may go live at different times on different stores and streaming platforms.
Some streaming platforms and stores may delay a release for additional review if certain checks are triggered during their quality control process.
For example, platforms may occasionally place a release under manual review due to metadata formatting, artist name verification, or other internal guidelines. In some cases, they may temporarily hide a release while reviewing whether it meets their editorial or style standards.
If we receive a notification from a platform regarding a delay, we’ll follow up as needed — and we may reach out to you if additional verification or updates are required.
As a general rule:
If your release hasn’t gone live on any platforms within 5 business days of your scheduled release date, feel free to contact us. We’ll investigate and work with the platforms to resolve any outstanding issues.
