Why is my title on Apple Music different from how it was submitted?

Apple Music may reformat your title to match its style guidelines, even if you submitted it with your preferred casing. This is done to ensure consistency across the platform and improve readability for users.

Apple typically rejects the following title formats:

  • ALL UPPERCASE
  • all lowercase
  • CompoundCase (e.g., ThisIsMySong)
  • JuMBleD CaSE

To avoid changes, it's best to submit your titles using standard capitalization (e.g., "This Is My Song") in line with typical formatting conventions.

For more information please consult section 3.21. of Apple Music's Style Guide.
