At this time, LANDR does not support releases under “Various Artists” or traditional compilation albums. Instead, all releases must follow the platform’s artist attribution rules.
Here’s how it works:
- You can include up to 4 total artist entries across the entire release.
- These entries can be Primary Artists or Remixers.
- At least one artist must appear on every track in the release.
Important: Each credit counts as a separate entry. For example, if the same person is listed as both a Primary Artist and a Remixer, that counts as 2 entries toward the 4-entry limit.
This policy ensures accurate delivery to stores and helps avoid metadata errors or release rejections. If you’re working on a project with many collaborators or tracks featuring different artists, consider releasing those tracks separately or under a shared artist name that meets the criteria.
