Performance Rights Organizations (PRO) like ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, SOCAN, and other associations collect royalties on behalf of artists, labels and publishers. However, they do not act as publishers themselves.
When building your release, do not include your PRO in the publisher field. If you don't have a publisher at this time you can simply write your Artist name.
