YouTube Music is replacing Google Play Music.
In anticipation of this change, Google has shut down their Artist Hub on April 30, 2019.
So what does that mean for your music?
- Content (e.g., tracks, albums, images, bios) will no longer appear in the Google Play Store or Google Play Music service (including the paid streaming and free radio service)
- You will no longer be able to upload or add new content to Google Play
- You will no longer be able to remove existing content
You will be able to withdraw your final earnings (for all sales and streaming activities, if any) once LANDR receives them from Google Play.
If your music is not already live on YouTube Music and you would like to distribute there, please re-submit your existing release from your Track Library and select YouTube Music as a preferred store.
