What is Beatport?
Beatport is the world’s leading store for dance and electronic music releases.
DJs from all over will be able to hear and buy your tracks from the world’s largest electronic music catalogue.
Beatport only accepts releases from approved labels. This means that LANDR will automatically replace the label you provided in your release metadata with “LANDR-Self Released”.
No worries though - the label that you initially submitted will still appear in all other stores.
How do I release music to Beatport?
In the LANDR release wizard select “Electronic” or “Dance” as the primary genre of your release.
Be sure to select Beatport when you are choosing which stores to deliver to.
Please note that Beatport reserves the right to refuse a release if the genre is misrepresentative.
Help: Why can’t I click on Beatport?
If Beatport is greyed out in the LANDR release wizard, it’s because the primary genre of your release is not “Electronic” or “Dance”.
Please make sure to double check your primary genre if you want your music to be sent to Beatport.
Help: Why did my label change on Beatport?
Beatport deals exclusively with pre-approved labels.
Because of this we need to submit your release with our own pre-approved name: “LANDR, Self-Released”
Help: How can I release existing content to Beatport?
If you already have an “Electronic” or “Dance” release with LANDR and would like to send it to the Beatport store, we recommend creating a duplicate release and submitting exclusively to Beatport when selecting your release stores.
