An ISRC code (International Standard Recording Code) is a unique identifier that gives your track its own digital fingerprint. It’s a good way to track and identify recordings on the web.
If you don’t have an ISRC code for your release, LANDR will give you one for free.
If you want to use an ISRC code you already have, enter it in the first step of the release builder.
Just select “Yes” in the section “Do you have an ISRC for this track?” and enter it there.
If you’re re-releasing tracks with existing ISRC codes (without changing the tracks at all), make sure you get in touch with the distributor who released them to have them taken down.
Having duplicate tracks released with the same ISRC code can cause confusion for you and for stores.
