How do I credit individual band members and accompanying bands?

Don't list both the main artist and the artist's accompanying band in the artist name.
Don't list individual members of the group in the artist name.

Good example:
The Beatles

Bad example:
Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr
